Not too long ago, OTSE released a video that named 2015 the "Year of Reform." You asked and they listened; Ohio Senators Bill Seitz (R-8) and Sandra Williams (D-21) are announcing their commitment to pass multiple bills with important death penalty reforms. The Senators' intentions were documented this past week in an article published by the Columbus Dispatch.
Please take a moment to send a word of thanks the Senators' way. There are no executions scheduled for 2015 and 56 recommendations to make Ohio's death penalty system more fair. Our consistent pressure and support ensures that we sustain the momentum that is pushing reform.
