The College of Mount St. Joseph will host the Dead Man Walking series of performances and lecture in March.
Dead Man Walking, based on the book by Sister Helen Prejean and adapted by Tim Robbins, will be performed by students, faculty, and staff of the Mount, Mother of Mercy High School, and McAuley High School. This play discusses some of Sister Helen’s experiences as a chaplain on death row and some of the people she encountered. There are three performance times for the play: Tuesday, March 25 at 10:50 a.m. and 7 p.m. and also on Thursday, March 27 at 7 p.m. All of the performances will be held in the Mount’s theatre.
This event is open to the public; tickets are $10, or $5 with a Mount ID. Please contact Mary Mazuk at 513-244-4828 for tickets.
