I want to thank you for joining Ohioans to Stop Executions this year. It’s been a banner year for our organization. The board of directors and staff appreciates the opportunity to work on your behalf to stop executions in Ohio.

What’s the most remarkable occurrence that no one would have predicted a year ago? There have been several very notable milestones, but for me the most compelling is the simple realization that there has been only one execution in 2014. In previous years, Ohio has been one of the busiest executing states in the country.

This week I ask you to help Ohioans to Stop Executions continue to advocate on your behalf to keep executions from resuming. Today is “Giving Tuesday,” a day set aside focused on making our world better. It’s a special day to support the non-profits doing the work YOU care about the most.

 

So please, let OTSE do the leg work. Your generous gift today helps us finish the year on strong footing and prepares us for an even more successful 2015.
